Welcome to Uzura!
Uzura, the Japanese word for quail,
comes from the little button quails we keep as pets.
My name is Shino Mikami, and I screen-print all my products by hand in my Seattle studio with my original designs inspired by the Pacific Northwest nature around me. Eco-friendly materials are a focus in my product line,
from women's apparel, to handbags, men's t-shirts and more.
In my commitment to sustainability, I select only green materials such as hemp and organic cotton for my products and print with environmentally-safe inks.
My hope is to spread awareness of eco-friendly materials
through my original nature-inspired designs.
